Germany has becoming an increasingly important part of the international education scene in recent years.

According to UNESCO in 2016 it overtook France and became the fourth largest worldwide after US, UK

Australia. It has become an attractive study destination beyond Europe and is Attracting Students from not only

China but also places like Iran, Cameroon, Indonesia , Tunisia, and Pakistan . It is the 3rd largest sending country of international students after China and India. This article examines the trends in inbound student mobility and profiles the steps the country has taken to facilitate the student inflows. It also analyzes where international

students in Germany are coming from. The fact that Germany is not an English speaking country the fact that

there has been an increase in International students is remarkable. This increase is seen mostly to how Germany promotes their universities. Marketing and initiatives have been utilized to not only highlight the benefits of

German universities to international students but as well as to strengthen the universities to maintain the local

students.
